PRODUCTION & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Designed and produced in Thessaloniki, Greece
MANUFACTURING APPROACH
All SIRENE EGEENNE garments, swimwear, shoes and bags are designed and produced in Thessaloniki, Greece. We work exclusively with local workshops, maintaining close supervision over pattern development, material selection and final construction. Our production remains small-scale and controlled, ensuring consistency in quality and responsible manufacturing standards. All sampling, fittings and final approvals are conducted in Greece before release.
MANUFACTURING APPROACH
Thessaloniki has a long-standing tradition in garment manufacturing and textile craftsmanship. We choose to produce locally to preserve know-how, reduce transport impact and maintain direct quality control. We follow a small-batch production model. This reduces excess stock, limits material waste and allows continuous refinement of fit and durability. Our swimwear requires technical knowledge in stretch construction, lining support and long-term resistance to salt and sun exposure. These specifications are integrated into every production cycle.
PRINTING & EMBROIDERY
All prints and embroideries are developed and crafted in Thessaloniki, Greece. We collaborate with specialized local artisans who work in small production runs, allowing precision control over color accuracy, stitch density and finishing quality.
SWIMWEAR MATERIALS
All SIRENE EGEENNE swimwear is made using ECONYL® regenerated fiber entirely made from reclaimed nylon waste, that reflects a conscious approach to resortwear, where aesthetics and responsibility meet naturally.
ECONYL® is a nylon fabric made from discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, and other waste. It functions like traditional nylon in terms of manufacturing and wear. The difference is that it’s produced by a chemical recycling process that breaks it down into its core polymers (long repeating chains of molecules) that can then be reassembled into new material. This means ECONYL® has more than a few promising benefits:
Continuously Recyclable: It doesn’t degrade the material with each cycle until it eventually needs to be discarded, which happens in the more commonplace method where plastic is melted down to reform into new material.
Sustainable: It both eliminates a large amount of oil normally used to make nylon (by using existing material) and reduces CO2-equivalent emissions in its manufacture by 50%.
Traceable: ECONYL®’s sourcing and production processes are publicly available, meaning it has a high level of traceability. This also helps distinguish it from materials claiming to be recycled nylon.
ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon, Infinitely Recyclable
No Nylon Waste. No New Resource.
Just Endless Possibilities
